In her column for The Guardian, Fiona Beckett, takes a look at lower alcohol wines, which can be higher in acidity, have sharper fruit flavours and therefore sometimes make a better match with food.
Included in her recommendations is a lovely Alsace Riesling from Cave Orschwiller, with Oysters as the suggested food match.
